I am so glad you're here!
My name is Lis, and I am the eternal introvert, yet the Lord placed it on my heart to share my reflections. So here I am, totally out of my comfort zone, yet exactly where He wants me to be !
This past year, He called me into a completely new season—asking me to step away from what I had known for over a decade as a therapist, and to trust Him fully as I leaned into homeschooling and being present at home. I’ve eased into this transition slowly but surely, and through the tug-of-war in my heart, this blog was born.
Total Submission is a space to reflect earnestly on who the Lord is and what He is doing in our lives—to learn what it truly means to fully trust Him, even when He calls us to something different than what we’ve prepared for or known. I am still living out and processing this transition in real time. My prayer is that these reflections uplift, encourage, and remind you to trust Him in every season, even as I too continue learning to do the same.
